We're hiring an Engineering Manager for a team that owns how creative content — images, videos, and media — is imported, stored, distributed, and rendered across the application. It's foundational work that ships to tens of millions of users worldwide.

What you'll Do
- Lead a team building platform capabilities that power Adobe Express and integrations across Adobe's creative suite
- Partner with Product Management to define the roadmap and balance delivery with platform health
- Champion AI-assisted and agentic development practices across the team
- Remove blockers, maintain team velocity, and create space for engineers to do their best work
- Mentor engineers at all levels through feedback, stretch opportunities, and clear career development
- Collaborate across Adobe to align priorities and drive cross-team initiatives
What you need to succeed
- 3–10 years leading engineering teams, with a track record of growing people and shipping products
- Strong AI fluency — you understand how AI systems work and have experience building or shipping AI-powered features
- Experience in a platform or infrastructure context, where your work serves other engineers and downstream products
- Ability to engage in architectural discussions and technical trade-offs without needing to be hands-on day-to-day
- Experience with Agile delivery, backlog management, and cross-functional product teams
- Clear communication skills across engineers, product partners, and senior leadership
Bonus Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, or similar web technologies
- Familiarity with content delivery, media processing, or storage systems
- Exposure to AI/ML tooling or working alongside data science and ML teams
- Experience managing distributed or globally remote teams
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages: C++, Python, Java etc.
Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $147,900 -- $293,250 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $202,500 - $293,250
In Washington, the pay range for this position is $178,200 - $258,000
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
