Microchip FPGA BU is looking for a talented, passionate and creative Product Engineering Technical Program Manager to join our new product development team.
The candidate will support the pre-production rollout of new products. This cross-functional role will provide opportunities to interact with and support many product rollout players including Test Engineering, Package Engineering, Yield Enhancement, Engineering Planners, Qualification Engineers, Quality, Marketing, and Operations.
Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate early builds for engineering in support of validation
- Manage inventory and coordinate Early Sample (ES) and pre-production (PP) builds in support of family rollout, stocking plans, and pre-production forecast
- Monitor package test yields through statistical analysis
- Work on enhancements to meet test goal targets
- Manage production holds to enable customer shipments and revenue.
- Develop scripts to monitor yields, track builds and identify bottlenecks. Report status to rollout team
Requirements/Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Master's degree preferred
- 0 - 1+ years of experience working in Product engineering, product planning or program management
- Hands-on experience with data management tools and languages like KLA and JMP
- Knowledge of solid-state physics and microelectronics is required.
- Skilled with scripting languages like TCL/PERL/Python, C and C++ , and Visual Basic.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 - $143,000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
