About the RoleA growing organization is seeking an experienced
Employment Law Attorney to provide legal guidance on a broad range of employment matters. This role will partner with leadership and HR to mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and support the organization on day-to-day employment law issues.
Key Responsibilities- Advise management and HR on employment laws, workplace policies, employee relations, hiring, terminations, accommodations, and other employment matters.
- Counsel on compliance with federal and state employment regulations and assist with developing and updating policies and procedures.
- Manage and support employment-related claims, investigations, disputes, and litigation in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft and review employment agreements, policies, releases, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and provide practical recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- 3+ years of employment law experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
