**Position Overview:**The Electrical Service Manager will be instrumental in building and shaping our electrical service department, overseeing all aspects of service operations, and driving growth and success. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in electrical systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical service operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing and mentoring a high-performing team.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to build and expand our electrical service department, including hiring and training service technicians, establishing service procedures and protocols, and developing service offerings.- Manage and mentor a team of service technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls, ensuring timely response and efficient resolution of customer issues.- Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, including response times, job completion rates, and customer feedback, and make adjustments as needed to achieve targets.- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to support business growth and development.- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resources and support company-wide initiatives.

 

**Qualifications:**- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical service operations, with a proven track record of success in a managerial or leadership role.

- Journeyman or Master Electricians License Required- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.- Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.- Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and electrical service management software.- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
