Buildings Electrical team in Victoria, BC as an
Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and contribute to the design of safe, sustainable, and high-performance buildings that shape how communities live, work, and connect. Your Impact- Support the design and analysis of electrical systems for institutional, commercial, and mixed-use building projects.
- Assist with preparation of drawings, calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated building designs.
- Participate in site visits, field reviews, and construction support activities.
- Apply applicable codes, standards, and client requirements to engineering deliverables.
- Contribute to sustainable and resilient design solutions that positively impact communities.
- Grow your technical expertise through mentorship, training, and progressive responsibility.
The Skills That Set You Apart- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC.
- Foundational knowledge of building electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and life safety).
- Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code and relevant standards.
- Experience with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and/or Revit is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in field work and site reviews as required.
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $73,400 - $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $66,300 - $88,000
