Full Job Description
Purpose of Position:

Del Monte Foods is the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, a global grower, producer and marketer of fresh, value-added, and shelf-stable produce. Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte®, Contadina® and S&W®. We are currently seeking a Director Supply Chain FP&A. The Director Supply Chain FP&A partners closely with Operations, Co Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Procurement, and Logistics to strengthen forecasting discipline, optimize COGS, and support strategic initiatives that fuel growth.

Accountabilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Own the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range planning for manufacturing (internal and external), procurement, and logistics.
  • Lead COGS forecasting and reporting across materials, conversion costs, freight, warehousing and overhead absorption.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives such as network optimization, automation, productivity improvements, and strategic sourcing.
  • Translate operational performance (OEE, scrap, labor productivity, yield) into clear financial insights.
  • Build robust R&O analyses that quantify changes versus plan and guide leaders toward root causes and actionable solutions.


Performance Management & Reporting

  • Lead monthly close and performance reviews for supply chain, including variance analysis and KPI dashboards.
  • Create clear, leader-ready reporting that highlights trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes, providing actionable insights that help leaders prioritize and address performance gaps.


Strategic Decision Support

  • Evaluate capital investments - from automation to capacity expansion - using ROI and sensitivity analysis.
  • Support make-vs-buy decisions, co-manufacturer negotiations, and network optimization.


Leadership

  • Develop a high performing FP&A team grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Builds strong cross functional partnerships that drive aligned, data driven decision making.
  • Communicate complex financial insights with clarity and influence.
  • Provides steady direction in a fast paced, resource lean environment, modeling ownership and proactive problem solving.
  • Champions scalable processes and operational discipline while empowering teams to innovate.


Minimum Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with progressive experience in FP&A or operations finance, ideally within food manufacturing or CPG.
  • Deep expertise in COGS modeling, manufacturing cost analysis, and supply chain KPIs.
  • Proven leadership experience developing talent and influencing cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills: experience ERP and planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Power BI).
  • Thrive in a fast paced, resource lean environment.
  • Build scalable processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner effectively with cross functional partners.
  • Drive measurable improvements in COGS, yield, and supply chain efficiency.
