Your Impact to the MissionZocdoc is seeking a strategic, technical, and commercially minded leader to establish and scale our combined Solutions Architecture and Professional Services function. This net-new leadership role sits at the critical intersection of our commercial and technical teams, serving as a core growth driver for our healthcare systems and large provider groups business line.
This leader will establish a high-impact organization that accelerates enterprise value realization through rigorous technical governance, predictable delivery frameworks, and strategic cross-functional alignment. They will serve as a key business partner to internal stakeholders, translating complex technical capabilities into long-term commercial success.
Responsibilities sit across the sales funnel, including pre-sales due diligence and solutioning, implementation, and client services post-sale. Ultimately, this team makes Zocdoc an indispensable partner for health systems and large provider groups and supports Zocdoc's growth strategy by ensuring that our solutions set a foundation for long-term growth.
You'll enjoy this role if you are...- Build and Lead the Organization: Build, develop, and lead the organization for a unified Solutions Architecture (SA) and Professional Services (PS) team. Establish coaching and development opportunities, operational handoffs, and career paths across SA and PS.
- Productize the Services Catalog: Design and maintain a standard catalog of onboarding packages, integration implementations, and optimization offerings with highly predictable pricing, sizing, and scoping guardrails.
- Own Pre-Sale Solution Design: Standardize the technical discovery framework for enterprise deals, spanning EHR/PMS landscapes, integrations, workflows, and security requirements. Create high-quality solution designs that balance client needs with product scalability.
- Drive Enterprise Delivery Governance: Establish the delivery methodologies, project health tracking, and operational guardrails that empower the team to accelerate Time-to-Value (TTV) and maximize feature adoption across a complex portfolio of enterprise accounts.
- Cross-Functional Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations executives to align the field's technical needs with Zocdoc's long-term product roadmap.
- Champion the Voice of the Customer: Deliver structured technical feedback from the field directly into Product and Engineering teams to highlight workflow friction, product gaps, and feature needs.
- Scale Reusable Assets: Build and maintain a robust library of reference architectures, standard integration patterns, playbooks, and RFP responses to accelerate field enablement.
What You'll Need- Enterprise SaaS Background: 10+ years of client-facing experience, ideally bridging Sales Architecture, Sales Engineering, and SaaS Professional Services/Implementation.
- Proven Management Capabilities: 5+ years of experience recruiting, leading, and developing a multi-level technical or consulting team.
- Integration Expertise: Demonstrated success designing and selling complex integrations and workflows across fragmented enterprise ecosystems (EHR/PMS platforms or equivalent developer-heavy API architectures strongly preferred).
- Strategic Commercial & Revenue Leadership: Drive business growth by embedding the SA & PS motion deeply into the sales funnel. Optimize the services P&L, resource capacity, and utilization models to accelerate deal velocity, unlock client expansion opportunities, and maximize overall customer lifetime value
- Ambiguity Competency: Experience establishing structured processes, systems, and operating cadences within an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
- Executive Presence: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse internal teams and present clear technical narratives to client C-suite executives.

Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.
