Director of FinanceWhat You'll DoAs Director of Finance, you will lead all global financial operations and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. You will be responsible for financial strategy, accounting, reporting, compliance, budgeting, cost management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for all global accounting and finance functions.
- Drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, international, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee corporate tax filings, sales tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting for multiple entities.
- Lead cost accounting, cost control, inventory oversight, and profitability initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Distribution, Sales, and Executive Leadership to support business growth and decision-making.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities while recommending strategies to improve performance and maximize ROI.
- Direct external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banking partners, and other stakeholders.
- Implement best practices, systems, policies, and technologies that enhance efficiency, compliance, and business performance.
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within a complex manufacturing or consumer products environment.
- Experience overseeing organizations with annual revenues exceeding $500 million.
- Strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Multi-state sales tax experience across multiple business entities.
- Proven success leading and developing large, high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting international entities and global financial operations.
- International taxation and regulatory accounting experience.
- SAP experience.
