Full Job Description
The Director of Brand Leadership provides strategic oversight of programs to grow Ochsner's brand prominence, affinity and trust among local, regional and national patients and clinicians. This role is responsible for articulating and maintaining the "Expert Leader" brand position through consistent verbal/ visual identity work and innovative brand programming. The Director works as a primary strategist to define the organization's voice, align brand initiatives with community stewardship goals and support the Ochsner innovation strategy. This position will assist the Brand Marketing VP with strategies to strengthen the brand, actively participate in developing the strategic plan for the brand team, foster positive relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and optimize efforts to measure marketing ROI for key audiences. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard. 3 Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals. 3 Strong analytical skills 3 Excellent organizational skills and Detailed oriented 3 Excellent time management skills 3 Strong presentation skills 3 Excellent interpersonal skills Job Duties 3 Directs the system-wide branding architecture, ensuring all entities and partner relationships galvanize around a unified vision. 3 Manages the evolution of brand standards and guidelines, including the proper use of key assets such as Ochsner's logo, life mark, etc. Oversee the development and management of partner co-branding across all touchpoints. 3 Conducts message mapping workshops with key internal partners to translate complex healthcare clinical offerings into consumer-centric narratives. 3 Ensures all organizational communications maintain a tone that is personable, positive, rational, warm, and humble, yet confident. 3 Consults with marketing and communications partners to ensure content is accessible to all communities. 3 Develops integrated brand campaigns that position Ochsner Health as a community steward, specifically highlighting initiatives like "Community Purpose in Action" 3 Leverages Ochsner's brand narrative to communicate a commitment to Ochsner's mission and culture. 3 Partners with internal teams to highlight Ochsner's as a Role Model for creating positive brand experiences throughout the organization. 3 Collaborates with clinical and digital teams to brand Ochsner's innovation strategy, emphasizing pioneering treatments and emerging technologies like Agentic AI Agents. 3 Promotes "innovation sponsorship activations" that enhance brand affinity and showcase Ochsner's forward-thinking approach to connected care 3 Monitors brand health metrics and integrates market research to differentiate Ochsner Health from competitors in the Gulf South region. 3 Establish and maintain ROI metrics for brand marketing efforts. 3 Manage assigned budget. Responsible for all aspects of financial management including budgeting, coordinating vendor invoicing and tracking payment of program components. 3 Stay current on industry trends and best practices for brand stewardship and growth. 3 Collaborate with market research and analytics team on brand reviews and competitive insights projects.
