ResponsibilitiesLoan Capital Markets & Syndicate ("Syndicate") is a team responsible for the origination, pricing, structuring and distribution of syndicated loans originated by SG in the Americas. Syndicate is responsible for (i) origination, structuring and execution of loan financing mandate, for our clients and prospective clients located, (ii) securing internal approvals to execute financings on either an underwritten or best-efforts basis and (iii) managing all phases of the distribution process.Syndicate work most closely with the following coverage groups:Specialized finance teams including: Digital Infrastructure, Energy and Energy Transition Project Finance, Metals, Mining & Industrials, Core Infrastructure, and Commodity FinanceLeverage Finance and Financial Sponsor Coverage for corporate acquisitions, LBOs, and leveraged recapsCorporate Coverage for general corporate funding and acquisition financeIn addition to the various coverage teams, Syndicate works closely with the Credit Sales and Trading teams. Externally, the Syndicate team interacts directly with both corporate and sponsor clients, as well as banks and institutional loan investors.JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a highly motivated Director to join our Digital Infrastructure Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring, and executing debt financings across the digital infrastructure sector, including hyperscale and colocation data centers, fiber networks, telecommunications infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and related assets.The role involves leading transaction origination and execution, due diligence, lender syndication, and client relationship management for complex financings. The candidate will work closely with sponsors, borrowers, legal counsel, technical advisors, syndication teams, and internal credit stakeholders.Profile requiredDemonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines on active bookrunner/lead arranger mandates in the syndicated loan marketStrong presentation skills, both orally and writtenAbility to understand complex financial structures and legal documentsCredit skills and ability to properly assess underwriting risksStrong existing relationships with key participants in the syndicated loans markets, and in particular the project finance bank and non-bank institutional marketsStrong networking skills both internally and external to the firmStrong interpersonal and communication skills10+ years within financial services, specifically loan capital markets & syndicate, or in Digital Infrastructure / TMTDeep knowledge of the loan capital markets, loan investor base and financing structures relevant to the target sectors COMPENSATION:Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
