Aon Securities provides investment banking and capital markets services to insurance and reinsurance organizations. The team advises clients on capital raising, insurance-linked securities, structured finance, and other strategic transactions.

The Director, Investment Banking will work with colleagues across Aon Securities and Aon's reinsurance business. The role also involves regular interaction with clients, investors, advisors, and other transaction participants in domestic and international markets.

General description of role

Aon is seeking a Director, Investment Banking to join the Aon Securities team within Reinsurance.

The Director will originate, structure, and execute financing and advisory transactions for insurance and reinsurance clients. Responsibilities span the full transaction process, including business development, financial analysis, structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.

This role is well suited for an experienced investment banking professional who understands the insurance sector and enjoys turning complex client needs into practical financial solutions. Job responsibilities
  • Originate and execute investment banking, capital raising, and advisory transactions for insurance and reinsurance clients.
  • Advise clients on financing options, capital structure, risk transfer, and other strategic matters.
  • Manage transaction activity from initial client discussions through structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build relationships with current and prospective clients and identify opportunities to address their business needs.
  • Work with colleagues across Aon Securities and other Aon businesses to deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Evaluate market conditions, client needs, and competitive activity when setting business priorities.
  • Contribute to the development of new capital and risk-transfer solutions.
  • Guide and develop team members through timely feedback, coaching, and shared expertise.
