Job DescriptionThe Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core solutions. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, Processors, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.
Fleet and mobility payments are a strategic growth area for VCS as the ecosystem evolves - from traditional closed-loop fleet cards to open-loop, EV, and mobility-adjacent use cases. This role sits within the VCS Product Solutioning organization and is the dedicated Fleet payments and ecosystem subject matter expert (SME), responsible for working directly with clients and partners to design their fleet solutions, integrate to Visa, bring Visa capabilities into their solutions, and carry the voice of the customer back into Global Product to inform the future Fleet product development roadmap.
This is a senior leadership role. The Director must bring the executive presence and credibility to engage directly with client and partner executives, and the influence to align internal stakeholders across Global Product, Regions, Sales, Servicing, and Technology to deliver positive outcomes for clients, partners, and the business. The ideal candidate combines deep fleet and mobility payments expertise with hands-on technical solutioning skill and the judgment to translate client, partner, and Visa platform capabilities into clear, actionable guidance for partners operating across diverse markets and use cases.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Deep fleet and mobility payments and ecosystem experience, along with broader commercial card payments expertise.
- A natural curiosity to explore the art of the possible, thrive in ambiguity, and the ability to diagnose complex client and partner problems and bring accurate, repeatable solutions to market.
- A passion for working directly with clients and partners, and a demonstrated track record of delivering powerful, technically sound solutions.
- The executive presence and gravitas to engage credibly with client and partner executives, and to influence senior internal and external stakeholders toward positive outcomes.
- Strong technical fluency in payment processing and ecosystem integration, including issuer and acquirer capabilities and platform constraints.
- A bias toward action - the ability to remove integration blockers, align stakeholders, and enable rapid decision-making to accelerate delivery.
- Strong collaborative skills to work closely with Global Product, regional teams, sales, and client services.
