Position Description: This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office (81 Bay Street, Toronto) at a minimum 3 days per week subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Client Leadership & Business Development
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across financial services organizations in the Greater Toronto Area.
Identify, shape, and secure opportunities related to data platforms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
Lead strategic pursuits, proposal development, and solution positioning aligned with client business priorities.
Contribute to the growth of CGI's Data & AI practice and the broader Financial Services portfolio through account expansion and new business development.
• Data & AI Strategy and Solution Leadership
Lead the development of enterprise Data and AI strategies that align technology investments with measurable business outcomes.
Design scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions leveraging modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI ecosystems.
Advise clients on the adoption and implementation of emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for executive and business stakeholders.
• Delivery Excellence
Oversee the successful delivery of consulting engagements and large-scale transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve defined business objectives.
Establish governance frameworks and delivery best practices related to architecture, risk management, security, and solution quality.
Collaborate with local and global delivery teams to ensure scalable and efficient execution.
• Financial & Operational Leadership
Manage a portfolio-level profit and loss (P&L), including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and resource planning.
Drive sustainable business growth through disciplined pipeline management and delivery excellence.
Support budgeting, strategic planning, and operational performance initiatives within the practice.
• Team Leadership & Capability Development
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams of consultants, architects, engineers, and data specialists.
Contribute to the development of CGI's Data & AI capabilities, methodologies, accelerators, and reusable assets.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Innovation & Thought Leadership
Stay current with advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud technologies, and modern data platforms.
Contribute to internal and external thought leadership initiatives within the Financial Services industry.
Promote best practices related to AI governance, responsible AI, data management, and emerging technology adoption.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Leading the development and commercialization of next-generation AI offerings, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Establishing strategic partnerships with major technology providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, and other ecosystem partners.
• Driving large-scale enterprise AI transformation programs across banking, capital markets, insurance, and wealth management organizations.
• Expanding CGI's Data & AI consulting footprint through market development initiatives and industry thought leadership.
• Developing industry-specific frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets to enhance delivery efficiency and client value.
• Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives related to AI and data-driven capabilities.
• Building and scaling multidisciplinary teams to meet increasing client demand for advanced analytics and AI services.
• Enhancing governance frameworks and responsible AI practices to address evolving regulatory, security, and ethical requirements.
• Representing CGI at industry conferences, executive forums, and client advisory boards as a recognized subject matter expert in Data and AI.
• Contributing to the long-term vision, strategy, and growth objectives of CGI's Financial Services and Consulting practices.
**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $145,000-$195,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
