Position Title:Digital ServicesLeadDesigner(Scaffolding&Allform)

Position Reports To:VP, Engineering&Technical Services

Position Summary

TheDigital ServicesLeadDesignerusesvariousdigital platforms toprovidetechnical supportduring theplanningphasesofa project orturnaround/outageinvolvingScaffoldingorAllform. This position will also provide technicalexpertiseandsupportengineeringwiththedesign and development of various structural components that will be manufactured and used for specific purposes.

Essential Functions

• Capable ofoverseeingor performingLidar scanning, production of a point cloudthroughtocompletion of arenderedworking 3D model, for anyspecified project work scope

• Workswithcustomersduringplanning phasesto build a 3D model, 2Dshop drawing and submittal drawingfollowing theprojectdesign drawings,blueprints, BIMmodelorLidar scan

• ConductsBuilding Information Modeling (BIM) forScaffolding,Forming,Shoringor other specificstructural itemsusingTekla, Revit or other systems.

• AssistsOperations and Customersin design reviews to evaluate design conceptsandensure constructability

• Performstechnical bid evaluations, reviewsclient specifications, and preparesthe technical proposal documents.

• Interfaces directly with Operations and Customers to determinesappropriate materialsand elements to build structures.

• Updates and revises drawings when changes are made to engineering designs.

• Conductssite visits and acts as technical field representative during project phase.

• Perform QA on model deliverables to ensure it follows customer/technical requirements and meets safety requirements.

• Workswith team members to design, develop and manufacture structural components related to a product group or for a specific project requirement.

• DevelopsCAD models for parts/products within structures using various software.

• Other duties as needed

Education &Experience

• Bachelor of Sciencedegreeincluding any of the following:Engineering, Construction Management,orEnvironmental &Safety

• Minimum2years of experiencein Industrial Services oranyConstruction industries

• Understanding ofLidar scanningand production of a working 3D project model

• Ability todesign scaffolding, forming or shoringin a 3D or 2D environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency withany of the following:AutoCAD, Revit,Tekla,Solidworks

• Strong understanding of technical drawings and plans

• Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Suite 6 Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• High degree ofmath and computer skills

• Ability to design components, parts, and overall structures/project sites

• Knowledge of Lidar scanningand production of working 3D project model

• Strongattention to detail

WorkingConditions/Physical Demands

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

• Travel to project site visits to provide hands ontechnical support(5-10%)

• Lightto moderatework that includes moving objects up to50pounds.

• Someadverse environmental conditionsare expectedthat will require the use ofpersonal protective equipment.
