DevOps Engineer who can build, support, and improve infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling that help teams deliver reliable services and better developer experiences. This role focuses on hands-on engineering, automation, and day-to-day operational excellence in partnership with other engineers and teams.
What You'll Do- Pipeline & Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation.
- Environment Reliability: Support the reliability, scalability, and performance of development and production environments.
- Workflow Optimization: Improve developer workflows through automation, tooling, and documentation.
- Observability & Incident Response: Contribute to observability efforts, including monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and incident response. Participate in on-call rotations and help resolve operational incidents.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and platform teams to troubleshoot issues and improve delivery processes.
- Standards & Security: Help maintain infrastructure standards, security practices, and operational runbooks.
- Cost Efficiency: Support cost-conscious engineering through efficient infrastructure usage and tagging practices.
What Will Make You a Great Fit- Core Experience: Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
- CI/CD Workflows: Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with IaC and automation tooling.
- Operations & Monitoring: Understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational support practices.
- Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work collaboratively across teams, clear communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points- Experience supporting containerized environments and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability platforms, cost optimization practices, or security-focused automation.
- Experience working in large-scale or multi-team engineering environments.
- Exposure to scripting or programming languages used for automation and tooling.
