Standard Job DescriptionWhat does this role look like?
➥ The incumbent in this role will be responsible for driving standardized and efficient processes, equipment, and culture, and for metrics tracking and communication across all programs that are building and testing satellites on the Denver Campus, with a focus on resource planning and rotation in support of ramp to rate, program demands and employee development.
➥ They will provide oversight/engagement in program activities leading to effective conflict resolution, and consistent communication/partnering with Program Managers and LOB Executive leadership when required.
➥ The Director will lead teams conducting AI&T activities across all programs in Denver.
➥ They will also review and approve all proposal inputs for AI&T, and will participate at the Enterprise level in decisions about facility usage and capital allocation.
➥ They will be cognizant of cost, schedule, and technical positions on each of their assigned programs at all times.
➥ The selected candidate will effectively implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, in order to build satellite production capability at rate, and to reduce defects and incidents.
➥ Support and implementation of initiatives encompassing cost reduction, safety, quality, cycle time reduction, process standardization, strategic oversight and cross program functionality will be required.
➥ Some limited travel expected/required.

Basic QualificationsTo be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
➥ Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field.
➥ 10+ years experience in a formal leadership role.
➥ Leadership experience at the Senior Manager level.
➥ Demonstrated ability to successfully lead large, cross-functional teams.
➥ Demonstrated change leadership.
➥ 5+ years of AI&T experience, building and/or testing spacecraft.
➥ Earned Value Management (EVM), Control Account Management (CAM), and/or project proposal experience.
➥ You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired SkillsTo be effective, ideally, you should also have:
➥ Experience with Executive communication and interaction
➥ Breadth of knowledge and work experience to develop, implement and institutionalize best practices and lessons learned and champion driving standardization across the enterprise and site.
➥ Greenbelt Certified
➥ Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large organization
➥ Program/project management
➥ Active TS/SCI clearance
➥ Knowledge of ATLO/Operations Strategy and Transformation Initiatives
➥ Strong business acumen
➥ Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leader
➥ Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $180000.00 - $325000.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
