Who You Will Work With: We're looking for a technically driven and strategically minded
Lead, Delivery Tooling & Data Platform team member who enables consistent, reliable, and scalable delivery tooling and data platforms across the enterprise. This role partners closely with business (product, finance, and strategy), corporate functions and technology teams to ensure tools and data platforms enable effective delivery, transparency, and decision-making without creating unnecessary complexity or friction.
You are the bridge between data and business teams, bringing a blend of technical expertise, strong business process understanding, and a pragmatic approach to solution design. You harness deep data analysis to connect insight and execution, enabling informed decision-making and driving practical, business-aligned solutions.
You serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders and lead the team's analytics capability, enabling clarity, insight, and data-driven decisions across the portfolio.
The role is accountable for the oversight, configuration, optimisation, and integration of delivery tools and underlying data platforms that support delivery planning, execution, performance tracking, and reporting. The role ensures that delivery tooling and data capabilities are fit-for-purpose, well governed, and aligned to delivery operating models and enterprise needs. Acting as a subject matter expert and trusted partner, the role works closely with delivery, product, platform, analytics, and governance stakeholders. Reporting to the Leader, Solutions Delivery CoE, you will play a critical role in guiding Planview modernisation initiatives across the Interac ecosystem, supporting strategic outcomes, enterprise alignment, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do: - Guide as the Lead, Delivery Tooling & Data Platform owning the full lifecycle of the Planview Portfolios platform
- Configure, maintain, and optimise Planview modules, including:
- Stakeholder management promoting cross functional collaboration to improve end-to-end delivery flow
- Measure, and refine Agile metrics using delivery data such as cycle time, throughput, and trends to evaluate team health and customer value delivery
- Enabling reliable delivery data through effective use of delivery data platforms reporting layers, and integrations
- Ensure data from delivery tools is accurate, consistent, and accessible for analytics and reporting purposes
- Design and implement reporting dashboards for stakeholders including C-suite
- Partner with analytics, data, and platform teams to improve data reporting, automation, and integration leveraging AI
- Financial management and budgeting
- Resource and capacity planning
- Time reporting
- Strategic portfolio and investment management
- Lead or support system upgrades and rollouts of new Planview features and modules
- Provide application support, issue resolution, and performance optimisation
- Manage user access, roles, and resource lifecycle administration
- Define and maintain standards, controls, and usage guidelines for delivery tooling and data visualisations using:
- MS Excel
- Planview analytics and reporting tools
- Power BI (Desktop and Pro)
- SQL queries against Planview datasets
- Ensuring consistency, compliance, and appropriate use. Support governance forums by enabling accurate and timely delivery data and tooling insights that inform oversight and decision-making
- Partner with stakeholders to understand portfolio, reporting, visualization and decision-support needs
- Translate business requirements into Planview reporting solutions
- Deliver tailored training (1:1 and group) for project managers, executives, and delivery teams
- Develop clear training materials, job aids, and reference documentation
- Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical leadership audiences
- Collaborate across IT and business teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement
- Apply change management practices to ensure successful implementation and sustained usage
- Translates complex technical concepts into measurable business value, bridging the gap between data capabilities and organizational OKRs.
What You Bring: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner gracefully with senior leaders
- Strong focus on advanced data analysis, uncovering patterns and driving evidence-based decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related fields
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Planview Portfolios
- Comfort with Jira tools (nice to have)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Microsoft Access
- Proven experience using analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Power Platform)
- Training in SQL, relational databases management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL or MS Access and/or data analysis
- Experience working within or alongside a Portfolio Management Office (PMO/EPMO)
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to coach at all levels-from hands on delivery teams to senior leadership
- Demonstrated success improving team health, delivery flow, and customer centric practices
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Planview Portfolios Administrator Certification (nice to have)
- Strong understanding of data flows, system integrations, and reporting architectures
- Experience with requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and vendor/SOW management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, iterative, and waterfall delivery methodologies
- A passion for continuous learning, psychological safety, and fostering inclusive team culture
- Eligibility to work full-time in Canada
What We're Offering: The hiring range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
