BT-425 - Data Visualization SpecialistLocation: Chantilly, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)

support a client office that collaborates with internal/external offices to curate and contextualize enterprise level information about client resources and activities in support of corporate metrics and increasing workforce effectiveness.
This position will
provide data analysis support to address complex business and intelligence questions at an enterprise level and translate complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative.
The candidate
MUST have experience using Power BI (Tableau is not a suitable substitute) and experience
creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, and experience
documenting work processes and
effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences.Experience using a data preparation tool, such as
Power Query, is preferred. Other skills/technologies that are desired include
Python, SQL, SharePoint, Jira, and
Confluence. Required Skills and Demonstrates Experience- Demonstrates experience in two or more of the following disciplines: business analytics, statistics, data verification and validation, and data visualization.
- Demonstrates experience applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business analytics problems.
- Demonstrates experience creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrates experience interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures.
- Demonstrates experience translating customer requirements into project or system specifications.
- Demonstrates experience with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Demonstrates experience as a self-starter with the ability to decomposing ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
- Demonstrates experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar interactive data visualization software.
- Demonstrates experience transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language such as Python.
- Demonstrates experience using a data preparation tool such as Tableau Prep Builder.
- Demonstrates experience using Excel and SQL.
Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrates Experience- Demonstrates experience with data derived from technical missions, taskings, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
- Demonstrates experience working with Sponsor business or mission data, Sponsor applications, or Sponsor database structures.
- Demonstrates experience with the Sponsor's data handling procedures.
- Demonstrates experience with visualization tools such as Jupyter, Visio, Sharepoint, or Confluence.
- Demonstrates experience with APIs.
- Demonstrates experience using GitHub or similar version control systems.
- Demonstrates experience using Python or R.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems or 4 years of relevant data analysis experience with the IC or military may substitute in lieu of degree.
