About the Role
Join Corteva's innovative Seed organization as a Data Scientist, supporting sales enablement and data-driven decision-making for agricultural manufacturing. Reporting initially to Greg, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver applied analytics and predictive modeling solutions directly tied to impactful agricultural use cases. This junior to mid-level position is ideal for those with strong technical fundamentals who are eager to grow in a dynamic, business-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and validate predictive models to forecast demand and optimize business decisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate organizational needs into actionable data science projects.
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover insights that drive sales strategies and operational improvements.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously improve modeling approaches and ensure robust, reliable analytics solutions.
- Support project verification and documentation for data-driven initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
- Solid command of machine learning fundamentals, including effective problem framing.
- Proven experience applying statistical and mathematical techniques to real-world business scenarios.
- Strong communication abilities with the skill to clarify technical concepts.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Databricks platform.
- Background in engineering with modeling, math, or statistics expertise.
- Experience in applied agriculture or manufacturing analytics.
