About the job you're consideringWe are looking for an experienced Lead Data Governance professional to join our telecommunications team. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee data governance frameworks leveraging Informatica IDMC (CDGC), ensuring they align with business goals, meet regulatory requirements, and uphold data protection standards.
Your role- Lead data governance on Informatica IDMC CDGC aligned with business goals
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define solutions related to IDMC CDGC
- Oversee data governance program delivery including planning, execution, and adoption
- Provide expertise in CDGC, data integration, lineage, and metadata management
- Drive PII identification, classification, and protection strategies
- Implement privacy-by-design frameworks and ensure compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
- Working on hybrid ecosystems using PowerCenter and AWS Cloud
- Define data retention, archival, and lifecycle policies
- Partner with security and business teams to enforce governance controls
- Ensure scalable and compliant enterprise data platforms
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data ecosystems
- Minimum 5+ years in data governance or data architecture roles
- Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (CDGC )
- Experience with PowerCenter and AWS environments
- Proven leadership in enterprise data governance initiatives
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:- Telecommunications domain experience
- Experience implementing enterprise governance frameworks
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$86,000 to $203,000.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
