As a Data Governance Advisor, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the deployment of the enterprise data governance framework within initiatives involving Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM), ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities;
- Facilitate the operationalization of data governance practices with business stakeholders and support the definition of governance roles and responsibilities;
- Collaborate closely with business data stewards to understand their governance needs and help establish efficient and effective processes;
- Support the definition and continuous improvement of data quality standards, controls, and processes in compliance with regulatory and industry requirements;
- Assist in implementing mechanisms and processes that validate governance practices and ensure data quality throughout the data lifecycle;
- Deliver training and awareness activities to stakeholders regarding data governance roles, responsibilities, and best practices;
- Provide strategic recommendations to strengthen the data governance framework and monitor progress related to data quality, security, classification, and overall governance maturity.

- Demonstrates strong autonomy, initiative, organizational skills, and a results-oriented approach;
- Is known for their excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Has hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), data classification, data quality, data incident management, and access management frameworks;
- Has a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sound data management practices;
- Holds a university degree in a related field;
- Possesses at least three years of recent experience in a Data Governance Advisor or Expert role;
- Has experience working with recognized frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK2 and EDM Council DCAM V2;
- Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is considered a strong asset;
- Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to communicate, collaborate, deliver guidance, and provide data governance recommendations, both verbally and in writing, to English-speaking internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
