As a Data Engineer, you will design and deliver scalable data products that power AWS Security initiatives. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that provides startup-like autonomy - you will own data domains end-to-end, from architecture through productionization and lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of data engineering experience and demonstrate expertise in developing and managing data solutions at scale. You should excel at translating complex data into meaningful insights through cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, analysts, and fellow engineers. You will be an integral part of a team that values innovation, technical excellence, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
* Design and own scalable data architecture and pipelines using native AWS technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to support BI solutions and customer analytics needs at scale.
* Build and deploy high-impact data products that transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence for internal and external customers.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Intelligence Engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data engineering solutions.
* Partner with Software Engineering teams to distill large, complicated datasets into digestible analytical insights.
* Insist on the highest standards by recognizing and adopting best practices in data engineering (e.g., data lineage, data integrity, data quality, pipeline observability).
* Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions to identify simplification opportunities and propose scalable solutions.
