Description

SAIC is seeking a self-motivated TS/SCI cleared individual looking to move into the IT/Cybersecurity workforce. SAIC's Air Force, Space and Intelligence Business Group has an opening for a Cyber analyst/Help Desk/System Administrator that will join a 20+ year program in maintaining, validating, and performing continuous monitoring while supporting end users and developers.

A successful candidate will help the program keep up-to-date with the latest technology and associated policies while focused on continuous monitoring activities to include regular scanning and patching, supporting software updates with opportunities for minor development (scripting), web application testing, and learning how to navigate the government's Risk Management Framework.

Role may include assisting and eventually running user training sessions.

Qualifications

Required skills:
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (such as CompTIA A+ or Network+)
• Willingness to work with the Linux command line
• Comfortable working closely with senior team members and users of all levels to help document software issues, and suggested enhancements
• A willingness to keep up to date with cloud technology, assisting with the integration of new technology to keep software and infrastructure use up-to-date, especially regarding updates to security

Desired Qualifications:
• Ability/desire to attain a DoD IAT Level II certification (such as CompTIA Security+)
• AWS Cloud experience a plus
• Scripting and/or programming experience a plus.
• Service desk / customer service experience plus
• Cyber security experience a plus

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
