What You'll Do - Support cybersecurity assessments aligned to federal frameworks such as NIST 800-series, FISMA, and OMB guidance
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, analysis, and POA&M updates using industry tools and AI-enabled GRC platforms Assist in drafting and maintaining cybersecurity documentation (SSPs, SOPs, policies, baselines)
- Analyze threats, risks, and system weaknesses to inform remediation activities
- Participate in stakeholder engagement, communications, and change-management efforts supporting cyber initiatives
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or adjacent field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (Systems, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), with graduation by August 31, 2027.
- Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA) from a 4-year accredited institution.
- U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.
Preferred Qualifications - Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., threats and security frameworks); strong networking fundamentals and deep understanding of how operating systems work
- Technical aptitude with interest in learning cyber tools, security automation, and emerging technologies
- Clear communicator who can translate technical details into business-friendly language
- Familiarity with using AI tools to research and solve business and technology challenges
