About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with an established real estate investment firm seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Corporate Senior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role will have broad ownership across corporate accounting, including multi-entity close, cash management and forecasting, accounts receivable, tax and compliance coordination, and oversight of third-party accounting providers. The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly accountable, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced investment environment. Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000

Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities across multiple corporate entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and resolution of outstanding items.
• Maintain cash forecasts and monitor liquidity needs, anticipated receipts, upcoming obligations, bank balances, and cash movements.
• Oversee corporate accounts receivable activities, including management fees, intercompany balances, reimbursements, billing, collections, aging, and cash application.
• Coordinate with outsourced accounting teams and third-party service providers, establishing priorities and deadlines, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of work.
• Partner with external tax advisors on corporate tax compliance, supporting schedules, information requests, estimated payments, extensions, filings, notices, and related follow-up.
• Support ongoing corporate compliance and entity administration, including registrations, annual filings, licensing, insurance renewals, entity changes, and other recurring requirements.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and automation while developing practical procedures to improve efficiency.
• Research and resolve unfamiliar accounting or operational matters independently, proactively communicating risks and recommending solutions to leadership.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience within private equity, real estate, investment management, corporate accounting, or public accounting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with treasury and cash management activities, including cash forecasting, liquidity planning, bank account monitoring, and cash transfers across multiple entities.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP with hands-on experience in month-end close, account reconciliations, accounts receivable, and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience overseeing or reviewing work completed by outsourced accounting teams or third-party service providers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Resourceful and self-directed approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity, research unfamiliar issues, and develop thoughtful recommendations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to independently prioritize multiple deadlines and workstreams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite, Expensify, Tipalti, or similar accounting and financial systems is preferred.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA licensure is a plus but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
