Job Title: Core IAM Ops - Active Directory Operations Specialist

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $110,000 and $135,000 annually.

Role Description:

Nomura is seeking an experienced operations specialist to support and enhance its global Active Directory/Entra ID Services. We are looking for someone with strong operational discipline, excellent analytical capability, and hands-on expertise managing Active Directory and Entra ID.

The Core Infra IAM Operations function is responsible for operating and maintaining all aspects of core infrastructure components relating to Identity and Access Management.

The candidate must be highly self-motivated team player with good oral and written skills and confidence to present to management.

The candidate should also have a good sense of discipline for change control procedures.

A flexible work ethic is required with the ability to form part of a multi-platform global function

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical operational support for Active Directory service
  • Provide technical operational support for Entra ID Services.
  • Work with engineering to support the delivery of new services and platform improvements to existing platforms to enhance resilience, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • In an L3 capacity, operate, maintain and resolve operational issues with Nomura's Active Directory and Entra ID Services through a follow-the-sun model.
  • Support day-to-day operational ceremonies required for Directory Services, such as managing incidents monitoring data feed and replication, fixing incorrect data, handling user enquiry, conducting DR test etc.
  • Support teams deploying robust and secure Directory platforms and enhance / upgrade in-line with solutions developed by engineering.
  • Maintain high-quality operational documentation, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits.


Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

Required Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating Active Directory and related Services in a financial-services or other high-security environment.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with Windows OS support, such as application installation, performance turning and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrable PowerShell or Python skills in conjunction with SRE & automation best practices

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards and eligibility for commissions for applicable sales roles in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
