Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-driven productivity solutions. This role will own prioritization across the M365 and Copilot implementation backlog, balancing business value, user impact, technical complexity, risk, and organizational readiness. The position will collaborate with IT, Data Operations, IT Security, Legal, Governance, Customer Service, Change Management, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into user stories, technical requirements, product roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, generative AI, prompt engineering, enterprise AI solutions, and Agile product management.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the strategy, prioritization, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 Copilot and M365 productivity platforms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical rollout and strategic aspects of Copilot and M365 productivity solutions.
• Ensure AI solutions align with enterprise security standards, data governance requirements, and responsible AI practices.
• Engage stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather, document, and prioritize requirements related to AI-enabled productivity.
• Translate business requirements, user needs, pain points, and process gaps into actionable user stories, technical specifications, features, and experiments.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, productivity impact, technical complexity, risk, and resource constraints.
• Collaborate with AI and Data development teams to define, sequence, and deliver product capabilities and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain strategic product roadmaps, milestones, timelines, and delivery plans for M365 and AI productivity platforms.
• Communicate roadmap priorities and alignment with broader digital transformation initiatives and organizational objectives.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 Copilot capability releases and emerging AI trends to keep product roadmaps current.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, Legal, Security, Customer Service, Data, Compliance, and AI Governance teams to ensure solutions integrate effectively with existing systems and meet enterprise standards.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, external IT partners, and vendors.
• Define acceptance criteria, success metrics, and test scenarios for M365 and AI-driven feature rollouts.
• Oversee testing and validation of AI-enabled features, including evaluation of AI-generated results and user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate UAT activities and capture feedback, defects, and enhancement opportunities for prioritization.
• Support the rollout and adoption of new AI-powered features in partnership with Change Management, Training, and Digital Experience teams.
• Organize training sessions, office hours, and hands-on coaching to support user adoption.
• Develop adoption materials such as quick guides, prompt libraries, tutorial videos, reusable patterns, and templates.
• Plan and facilitate enterprise Promptathons focused on business use cases, prompt engineering, and responsible AI usage.
• Monitor Copilot usage, performance, adoption, engagement, and business impact to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Use analytics and user feedback to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and improve AI productivity solutions.
• Identify opportunities for Copilot agents, AI-driven automation, and emerging technologies to improve workflows and decision-making.
• Research and evaluate developments in generative AI, machine learning, large language models, AI agents, automation, and workplace productivity technologies.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Experience supporting AI-driven solutions, intelligent automation, digital productivity tools, or enterprise technology products.
• In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot, including practical experience enabling users, designing prompts, and supporting Copilot usage across business scenarios.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, OpenAI GPT-based services, Azure AI, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of generative AI and its application to business processes and productivity use cases.
• Experience with prompt engineering or configuring AI model outputs to meet business and user requirements.
• Proficiency with cloud-native architecture, API integrations, and automation frameworks.
• Experience managing product backlogs, prioritization, user stories, and product roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience working within an Agile software development environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity platforms, particularly Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 service capabilities and constraints, including Teams meeting, chat, and channel experiences; OneDrive synchronization and sharing; information lifecycle considerations; and common end-user productivity scenarios.
• Understanding of how Microsoft 365 platform configuration and governance decisions impact adoption and user experience.
• Experience with data privacy, security, information governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience developing and delivering training and enablement programs.
• Experience identifying and implementing AI agents and automation capabilities for enterprise workflows.
