About The PositionThe analyst will assist in the management of Market Data and Application Development software for Fortress Investment Group LLC employees globally. The analyst will manage orders for services from employees across the firm, update inventory database records, manage contract renewals and review invoices for accuracy.
The candidate must be familiar with general accounting concepts to provide accurate accounting of expenses as well as have a general understanding of the various vendors/platforms they are managing. The candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills; strong organizational and analytical skills. Additionally, to be successful, the right candidate must be a team player with strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities- Assist in day-to-day management of contracted services by processing requests to add, cancel or re-assign services due to moves, departures or changes in business requirements
- Update the contract database FITs (Financial Information Tracking System) to maintain accurate records of inventory
- Manage the contract renewal process for vendors associated with Market Data and Application Development Services including sending cancellation notices per contract terms, completing timely audits of services in advance of renewals, and negotiating advantageous contract terms with external vendors
- Process, reconcile and validate invoices daily.
- Manage all aspects of the market data and application development contract and invoice lifecycles
- Participate in department projects and fulfill ad hoc requests
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications - 3-5+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize assigned work and complete in a timely manner
- BS Degree (or equivalent) in accounting/finance
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, ability to follow multi-step processes, organization skills and ability to multi-task; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates high service orientation, integrity, discretion and follow through
- Demonstrates the ability to work across broad, diverse groups; demonstrates the ability to collaborate and develop/maintain relationships with both internally and externally
- Strong business analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel and Outlook are required
- Knowledge of FITs and ServiceNow a plus
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $110,000
The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
