YOUR ROLE AND IMPACTAs an Associate, Alternative Funds Fee Controller, you will join a global team responsible for overseeing management and performance fee processes across alternative investment products. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to support fee calculations, interpret complex fund documentation, enhance operational controls, and contribute to strategic initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in alternative investments while influencing scalable operating models and technology-driven process improvements.

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
- Review and oversee complex unrealized and realized waterfall models, including preferred return, recycling capital, carried interest, and clawback provisions.
- Partner with team members and third-party administrators to develop, validate, and oversee fee calculations for newly launched funds.
- Interpret fee agreements and related legal documentation to support timely and accurate management and performance fee calculations.
- Participate in discussions with prospective and existing clients regarding fund fee structures and operational requirements.
- Lead the ongoing assessment and enhancement of fee oversight processes, ensuring adherence to governing legal documentation, product policies, and regulatory standards.
- Support the onboarding of new funds and oversee service provider control frameworks while effectively communicating complex concepts and procedures to stakeholders across the firm.
- Partner with technology teams to support fee calculation solutions, drive process improvements, and contribute to the evolution of fee-related platforms and infrastructure.
YOUR EXPERIENCE- 3+ years of experience in financial services, with alternative investment experience preferred.
- Experience performing complex modeling and fee calculations, including management fees, incentive fees, and carried interest structures.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex partnership agreements, offering materials, and related legal documentation.
- Experience with alternative investment accounting, management reporting, or partnership accounting processes.
- Familiarity with eFront, Investran, or similar alternative investment technology platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
