Full Job Description
What you’ll be doing You’ll be joining CIBC’s Enterprise Intelligent Automation Technology team.You’ll be responsible for providing investigation and second level support on client issues, technical issues, system outages and questions from all internal and external application by maintaining, prioritization and addressing to respective CIBC technology groups and vendors. You'll help maintain automation stability, performance, and service reliability by supporting incident response, root cause analysis, and platform health monitoring. You'll also manage risk, compliance, security, and control requirements across automation services while supporting change delivery, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the production applications and day-to-day operational activities, manage escalations and modify established procedures / approaches to suit specific situations including 24 x 7 support and coordination of recovery efforts. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview How you’ll succeed      - Operational support and platform stability - Provide day-to-day support for enterprise automation solutions and related platforms, helping to ensure strong availability, performance, and reliability across the automation environment. - Incident management and service improvement - Monitor issues, troubleshoot incidents, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions that improve service stability and reduce recurring problems. - Risk, compliance, and controls - Apply established security, risk, compliance, and control practices to automation services, ensuring operational processes align with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. - Change delivery and modernization - Support platform upgrades, releases, enhancements, and modernization initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy). - Stakeholder collaboration - Partner with technology teams, support partners, and business stakeholders to understand needs, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that improve automation outcomes and the client experience. Develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA, Project team and others - Monitoring and reporting - Use monitoring and reporting tools to assess platform health, identify trends, and provide insights that support proactive service management and informed decision-making. Who you are - You have deep technical experience. You bring 5+ years of experience in application development, platform support, or enterprise automation environments. You have hands-on experience with automation platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar technologies. - You're skilled in enterprise support tools and integrations. You have experience working with ServiceNow, Jira, or other information technology service management tools, along with SQL, application programming interfaces (APIs), and integration support tools to investigate and resolve issues. - You understand modern delivery practices. You have experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or other repository and version control tools, and you're comfortable supporting structured change, release, and continuous improvement processes. - You bring strong infrastructure and monitoring knowledge. You have experience supporting Windows Server environments, virtual platforms, and enterprise monitoring and reporting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Power BI, or Excel. - You're interested in emerging technology. Exposure to AI-enabled automation and digital transformation initiatives is an asset and will help you contribute to the continued evolution of enterprise automation capabilities. - You have the right education.
