What you'll be doing

You'll be joining CIBC's Core Banking and Payments Technology, you'll be at the heart of CIBC's modernization and transformation journey, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale ATM Payments projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Consultant, Full Stack Developer you'll assemble, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience for ATM Payments platforms. You'll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you'll be on-site full-time. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

• Programming Skills- Develop code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging.
• Systems Implementation- Participate in the technical design, development, and integration of cross functional, multi-platform application systems.
• Planning and Coordination- Effectively interact with team members, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members.

Who you are

• You can demonstrate 5-8 experience in. Technical Design, Troubleshooting, Production Control and Problem Solving, you have the knowledge and experience anticipating, recognizing, and resolving technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems. Strong expertise in application development using Java/C#/C/C++, development experience in Linux with SQL scripting knowledge, strong experience DevOps, Test Automation, AI, CD/CI, Github and Jenkins. It would be considered a strong asset if you have experience in applications which perform OLTP (On-Line Transaction Processing). It would be considered a strong asset if you have experience with HP NonStop Tandem, ISO8583, Oracle. It is an strong asset to have previous experience working on Azure Cloud, GoLang, Solace, MQ, Kubernetes, API and Microservices. ATM and Payments Technology experience is an asset.
