Position Summary

The Consultant, Compliance Advisory & Technology will support clients in assessing, enhancing, and operating corporate compliance programs. This role focuses on the operational side of compliance, helping organizations strengthen risk management, improve program effectiveness, leverage technology, and gain greater visibility into potential compliance risks.

Working collaboratively with Leaders, team members, and client personnel, the Consultant will contribute to client engagements focused on strengthening compliance programs through risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, technology enablement, and data driven insights. The role will support practice growth initiatives, including developing service offerings and methodologies, and assisting with thought leadership, marketing, and business development efforts.

This role is ideal for a professional who is intellectually curious, comfortable working with data, interested in emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, and eager to develop expertise in corporate compliance.

This is a remote position. While office attendance is encouraged, periodic travel to client sites and company meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Program Support
  • Support assessments of compliance program maturity and effectiveness.
  • Assist with risk assessments and the identification of compliance risks and control gaps.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of compliance processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Help prepare client deliverables, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across client compliance programs.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging compliance practices.

Compliance Operations
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance program materials, policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Support efforts to improve the accessibility of compliance resources.


  • Contribute to the creation and administration of compliance training and awareness initiatives.
  • Help document and assist with improving compliance workflows and processes.

Data Analytics, Monitoring, and Reporting
  • Gather, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
  • Support monitoring and testing activities across communications, transactions, and third party risk areas.
  • Contribute to the creation of meaningful metrics, identification of data sources and turning the data into dashboards, reports, and visualizations for clients and project teams.
  • Help evaluate program effectiveness through the collection and analysis of compliance data.

Technology and Innovation
  • Develop familiarity with artificial intelligence capabilities and identify use cases to apply it within compliance programs.
  • Support software evaluations, technology implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist project teams in identifying opportunities to leverage technology and data analytics.

Client Service and Project Delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and client personnel across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Support project planning, execution, and delivery activities.
  • Maintain organized workpapers, project documentation, and version control.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and thought leadership activities as opportunities arise.
  • Support business development efforts through research, content development, and project support activities.


Qualifications

Required
  • Five or more years of professional work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with data and drawing meaningful conclusions.
  • General understanding of risk management principles and risk mitigating controls.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to artificial intelligence, automation tools, or data visualization technologies.

Preferred
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Exposure to corporate compliance, ethics, legal, risk, audit, governance, or related functions.
  • Familiarity with anti-corruption and data protection, including third party due

diligence, data privacy impact assessments and data subject access requests.
  • Familiarity with compliance technology platforms, workflow tools, reporting solutions, or analytics tools.
  • Interest in regulatory developments and corporate compliance leading practices.
