Full Job Description
The Construction & Mechanical Rope Access Manager is responsible for the leadership, planning, execution, and oversight of offshore and onshore construction, light mechanical, rope access, inspection, maintenance, and decommissioning projects. This position provides technical expertise, operational leadership, and customer support for a wide range of services including In-Service Inspection Programs (ISIP), ABS inspections, welding, rigging, rope access operations, composite repairs, specialty mechanical services, and decommissioning activities. The Manager is responsible for ensuring safe execution, quality performance, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability of assigned projects while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES:
• Provide leadership, oversight, and management of offshore and onshore construction and mechanical projects.
• Manage all rope access operations in accordance with applicable SPRAT/IRATA and company requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee In-Service Inspection Programs (ISIP) for offshore facilities.
• Manage and support ABS inspection activities for fixed and floating assets.
• Provide technical oversight for welding, fabrication, structural repairs, and mechanical maintenance activities.
• Manage rigging operations associated with maintenance, construction, and decommissioning scopes.
• Develop work packs, execution plans, resource requirements, schedules, and project budgets.
• Oversee offshore and onshore decommissioning activities.
• Manage composite repair projects utilizing engineered composite wrapping systems.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services and project growth.
• Prepare project estimates, proposals, and schedules.
• Monitor project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), and productivity metrics.
• Lead pre-job planning meetings, risk assessments, job safety analysis, and post-job reviews.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and leadership to supervisors, foremen, technicians, inspectors, and field personnel.
• Provide routine project status updates to clients and MISTRAS management.
• Ensure all projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and exceptional HSE performance.
• Support emergency response and mobilization activities as required.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and quality management systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 5 years of offshore and/or industrial construction, maintenance, inspection, or mechanical integrity experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore operations, mechanical programs, and facility maintenance.
• Experience managing rope access projects and personnel.
• Working knowledge of ISIP programs and industry inspection standards.
• Experience with ABS inspections and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, rigging, lifting operations, and structural repairs.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Strong project management, scheduling, and budgeting experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project management software.
• Ability to develop proposals, estimates, reports, and technical documentation.
• TWIC card required.
• Valid driver's license required.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and offshore structures.
• Ability to wear required PPE and fall protection equipment.
• Ability to travel and perform site walk downs and periodic project overview.
