Position OverviewAs an
Estimator II, you will be instrumental in the bid process, providing precise and competitive cost estimates for multi-family construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that the firm delivers high-quality work while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction. Our estimating team is lead by the Director of Preconstruction and includes a Chief Estimator, Senior Estimator, and another Estimator II.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for multi-family construction projects based on plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to obtain necessary information for accurate bids.
- Review contracts and identify potential cost risks while proposing solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Maintain an updated database of construction costs and suppliers to reflect market trends.
- Participate in project meetings and assist with the overall estimating process to ensure project feasibility.
