Job Overview

We are seeking a Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst to join our team. You will actively protect, monitor, and defend enterprise networks by identifying and responding to unauthorized activities and emerging cyber threats. Additionally, you will ensure strict adherence to Computer Network Defense (CND) compliance requirements while sustaining Information Assurance (IA) tools and implementing robust perimeter defenses. This position is in Battle Creek, MI. This position may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Threat Detection & Incident Response: Actively monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and mitigating unauthorized activities across information systems while deploying specific cybersecurity capabilities to address CND alerts and emerging threat intelligence.
  • Compliance & Vulnerability Management: Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CND compliance by utilizing IA tools to perform correlation analysis, track vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation efforts, and escalate instances of non-compliance.
  • Security Tool Sustainment: Providing ongoing enterprise-level technical analysis, maintenance, and sustainment support to ensure the continuous operation and optimization of critical IA tools and applications.
  • Perimeter Defense & Network Security: Assisting in the strategic application of Defense-In-Depth signatures and perimeter security controls to actively diminish and neutralize targeted network threats.
Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority meeting DOD 8570.01 CSSP-IR.
  • Must possess and maintain CNDSP/CSSP-IR certification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess experience working within a SIEM.
  • Must possess experience analyzing logs from multiple sources such as system event logs, F5, Firewall, etc.
  • Must possess experience reviewing and analyzing network traffic through packet captures.
  • Must possess written and verbal skills to appropriately document and brief cybersecurity incidents.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess a current Top-Secret clearance.
