Job Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to join our team. You will serve as a strategic cybersecurity advisor responsible for developing, consolidating, and assessing IT security policies to ensure strict alignment with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and broader Department of Defense (DoD) mandates. Furthermore, you will provide critical technical support to balance operational functionality with rigorous security requirements, while regularly briefing senior leadership on policy evolutions and implementation progress. This position is in Battle Creek, MI. This position may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Cybersecurity Policy Management: Leads the comprehensive lifecycle of policy administration, specifically focusing on the review, consolidation, and origination of robust cybersecurity policies tailored directly to DLA requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensures seamless alignment with federal and departmental mandates by applying a deep understanding of overarching DoD cybersecurity tenets, processes, and implementation procedures.
  • Executive Communication & Advisement: Acts as the primary conduit for strategic security information, responsible for formally briefing senior management and stakeholders on critical policy updates, procedural changes, and overall compliance progress.

  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAT level II
