Cloud Software Engineer 1 to support the development and deployment of enterprise cloud-based solutions within a mission-driven environment. The selected candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of scalable cloud-native applications supporting large-scale compute and data analytics platforms. This role involves working within an Agile development team to implement secure and reliable software capabilities across cloud infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated developer with strong attention to detail who can work independently and collaboratively to meet evolving customer requirements. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph). Capabilities 9Shall have at least 2 years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and problem diagnosis/resolution. 9Shall have demonstrated ability to work with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Accumulo, Big Table, et cetera. 9Shall have at least one (1) year of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, et cetera. 9Shall have at least two (2) years of experience in software integration and software testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.
