Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Research Coordinator II, coordinates and administers clinical trials across all phases of study protocols for the Transplant and Cellular Therapy and Leukemia and Lymphoma programs. Serves as a resource for principal investigators and research team members, supporting study start-up, participant recruitment and enrollment, data collection, study-related scheduling, and subject follow-up. Oversees a diverse portfolio of clinical research studies, including CAR-T cell therapy, gene therapy, therapeutic intervention trials, observational studies, and patient registries. Assists with quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure data integrity, protocol compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Provides cross-coverage and operational support for other Clinical Research Coordinators within the department.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required:- 3+ year experience in clinical trial coordination with 1+ years pediatric clinical trials experience.
Preferred:- Clinical trial coordination and management experience
- Study start-up experience, including site activation and study implementation
- Regulatory experience, including IRB submissions, compliance, and study documentation
- Experience managing study budgets, contracts, and invoicing
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Required:- Bachelor's degree or associates degree in related scientific field.
- ACRP Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or SOCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). *Candidates with a medical degree are exempt from certification requirement.
Pay Scale Information $72,862.40-$97,136.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
