TheImpact You'll Make

As a Client Partner, you'll play a critical role in driving growth across Nextdoor's Central region. You'll own a strategic territory across the region, building and growing relationships with leading brands and agencies, with a particular focus on Retail, QSR, and CPG advertisers, while identifying opportunities to expand Nextdoor's advertising business.

This is an opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented seller who thrives on building relationships, uncovering whitespace, and turning customer needs into meaningful business opportunities. You'll balance developing new business with growing existing partnerships, bringing a consultative approach to advertisers and agencies and helping them understand how Nextdoor can deliver against their marketing objectives.

You'll own the full sales cycle, from developing pipeline and cultivating relationships to closing business and growing long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires a proactive hunter mentality paired with strong account growth and strategic selling skills.

You'll also play an important role in shaping how advertisers think about local connection, bringing customer insights back to help inform Nextdoor's product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and continued growth.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth across the Central region
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and develop strategies to expand Nextdoor's relationships with existing advertisers, agencies, and prospective customers
  • Prospect, develop, and close net-new business while expanding revenue within existing accounts
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders, agency partners, and key decision-makers
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by deeply understanding advertiser objectives and recommending multi-funnel advertising solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Leverage customer and market insights to identify opportunities, shape account strategies, and drive meaningful business growth
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases that leverage data, storytelling, and industry insights to inspire customer confidence and drive business decisions
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined opportunity management, accurate forecasting, and thoughtful prioritization
  • Partner closely with Ad Solutions, Marketing, Product, Measurement, and Operations to deliver successful campaigns and exceptional client experiences
  • Effectively manage advertiser expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle while identifying opportunities for long-term account growth and retention
  • Navigate complex enterprise buying processes and build consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment by balancing short- and long-term priorities while adapting quickly to evolving business needs
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises
  • Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor's company culture
What You'll Bring To The Team
  • 10+ years of experience driving enterprise advertising sales and new business development within digital media, advertising technology, or related industries
  • Established relationships with advertisers, agencies, and marketing leaders across the Central region, with experience selling into Retail, QSR, and/or CPG preferred
  • Proven success developing new business and growing revenue within an established territory or market
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and generate new business through an established network of advertisers, agencies, and industry partners
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders and navigating complex enterprise buying cycles across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success managing a full sales cycle while consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, platform-based media buying, and marketing objectives spanning brand awareness, performance marketing, and full-funnel strategies
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision makers
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and identifying whitespace opportunities that drive long-term customer growth
  • Experience with Salesforce and modern sales prospecting and intelligence tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pathmatics, Winmo, or similar platforms)
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to independently manage a complex territory and multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience thriving in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments, with comfort navigating ambiguity, change, and evolving go-to-market strategies
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, sound judgment, and self-direction, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
  • A passion for building community, fostering inclusion, and contributing to a culture of belonging
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with a demonstrated willingness to thoughtfully apply AI tools to improve productivity, customer outcomes, and the way work gets done
