Litigation & Disputes Practice Group with a focus on
Class Actions and Mass Torts. This opportunity is available across multiple U.S. offices and offers the chance to
work alongside leading litigators defending global companies in complex, high-exposure matters. The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in all aspects of case development, including participation in high-stakes trial teams and handling sophisticated class action and mass tort litigation matters.
Candidate Profile - JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing (or ability to become admitted promptly)
- 4-7 years substantive experience in complex litigation, including class actions and mass tort matters
- Federal circuit court clerkship and/or Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA) experience preferred
- Experience supporting trial teams in state and federal jury trials
- Experience taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions
- Strong background in complex litigation within a large law firm environment
- Superior analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to take ownership of assignments and assume significant responsibility
- Client-service mindset with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities - Defend complex class action and mass tort matters in state and federal courts
- Manage and support all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation
- Conduct and oversee fact and expert discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and support class certification briefing and related litigation strategy
- Participate in trial preparation, trial support, and high-stakes trial teams
- Assist with appellate briefing and appellate strategy
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management
- Interface directly with clients and contribute to strategic decision-making
Compensation & Benefits - Competitive Salary: Salary range $225,000 - $340,000, commensurate with experience, skill sets, class year, market factors and other job-related factors permitted by law.
