Qualifications

• High school diploma; trade school experience preferred.
• 3+ years in hotel maintenance/engineering, with 2+ years in management.
• Certifications in High-rise Fire Safety, CFC, and chemical testing required.
• Proficiency in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Skills in welding, boiler maintenance, chillers, and carpentry necessary.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and assess areas quickly.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and maintain a wide range of hotel equipment and systems.
• Repair and maintain lock and key systems for hotel security.
• Conduct minor construction work and perform painting and repairs.
• Inspect and repair kitchen and restaurant equipment as needed.
• Maintain daily documentation for all maintenance activities.
• Lead and conduct performance evaluations and training for maintenance staff.
• Coordinate purchasing and keep accurate logs of equipment tests and maintenance.
