Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Partner with program teams to design solutions based on client needs
  • Provide engineering support for application development
  • Conduct installation, configuration, and performance tuning
  • Define client requirements for IT engineering solutions
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for program management and clients
  • Conduct technical reviews and develop customer roadmaps
  • Advise senior-level customers on system architecture and optimization
  • Collaborate with program management for technical solutions
  • Responsible for creating future technical roadmaps
  • Conduct technical interviews for highly technical roles
  • Mentor and coach technical team members
  • Perform additional assigned duties.

Full Job Description
  • Partner with program team members to gather/translate requirements and design solutions to meet the needs of the client.
  • Provide defining engineering support on performing application development
  • Conduct installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Define client requirements for solutions including services, products, technologies and capabilities which encompass IT engineering disciplines.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert where applicable with program management leads and clients.
  • Conduct technical reviews of engineering and architectural designs and plans, building 12/24/36 customer roadmaps
  • Advise senior-level customers on network/system architecture and optimization.
  • Work together with program management to develop technical and support solutions for new and existing contract work.
  • Responsible for developing future state technical roadmap for the client and program.
  • Conduct technical interviews of candidates for highly technical positions across the program.
  • Mentor/coach technical team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Ability to obtain FEMA EOD
  • M.S. + 12 years of applicable experience
  • Previous experience as a Chief Architect
  • Advanced technical certifications
  • Strong working knowledge and mastery of current technologies and capabilities employed in the Federal Government space, including and not limited to, Networking, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Windows, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, ITIL, SAFe, or similar)
  • Experience leading enterprise modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, digital transformation, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, Digital Employee Experience (DEX)
  • Familiarly performing technology analysis of alternative, technical risk assessments, and trade-off analysis
  • Prior experience in a Chief Architect or equivalent senior technical leadership role
