Title: Chief Accounting Officer
Compensation: $250,000 - $325,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Equity
Location: Orange, CA 92856 (Onsite)
Responsibilities:- Provide strategic and operational oversight of the company's accounting infrastructure across multiple business segments
- Guarantee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all external and internal financial reporting deliverables
- Serve as a key stakeholder in the evaluation, selection, and rollout of enterprise financial systems
- Own the SOX compliance program, ensuring a well-controlled environment across a complex, decentralized organization
- Establish and safeguard a robust controls environment appropriate for a complex, decentralized organization
- Recruit, develop, and scale a high-performing accounting function to support organizational growth
- Champion initiatives that modernize and streamline financial close and reporting workflows
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operational and executive stakeholders on financial matters affecting the business
- Provide accounting leadership and structure for corporate development activity, including deal evaluation and integration planning
- Guide the ongoing evolution of financial systems and infrastructure to support a growing enterprise
- Influence enterprise-wide financial strategy through close partnership with senior leadership
- Elevate the maturity and sophistication of accounting processes to support long-term scalability
Requirements:- CPA license required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Significant progressive accounting leadership experience, including senior-level oversight of a corporate accounting function
- Experience operating within large and complex organizations
- Strong background in internal controls, compliance, and external audit management
- Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams through periods of change
- Hands-on leadership style with strong executive presence and communication skills
