Our Client, a fast-growing e-commerce and lifestyle brand, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their finance team. The ideal candidate brings a blend of public accounting discipline and private-industry agility - someone who takes full ownership of the financial function and leverages technology to drive accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring financial statements are accurate and delivered on time
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reserves, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct detailed general ledger analysis, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Apply technical accounting knowledge to maintain GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
  • Manage audit workpaper preparation and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors
  • Build and maintain scalable, well-documented SOPs to support the department's growth

Operational Ownership
  • Own the General Ledger function end-to-end
  • Understand business operations and their financial impact, driving change through influence
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement sustainable solutions proactively
  • Operate as a true business owner within finance, holding company resources to a high standard of accountability
  • Partner cross-functionally to connect financial results with underlying business drivers

Technology & Process Optimization
  • Lead implementation and optimization of accounting systems, including ERP, expense management, and reconciliation tools

Required Qualifications
