Job Description:Carelon Sales Executive - Payment IntegrityLocation: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement. Alternate locations may be considered.

The
Carelon Sales Executive is responsible for driving growth by directing sales and retention strategy for the Payment Integrity solutions offered through Carelon's Payment Integrity Solution Suite, which represent a high-value proposition for its customers.
How you will make an impact:
- Establishes, builds, and nurtures executive-level relationships at targeted accounts to introduce Carelon's Payment Integrity solutions.
- Engages with existing clients to drive growth opportunities and collaborates closely with Account Teams to strengthen relationships and expand sales within those accounts.
- Pursues new prospects to broaden Carelon's customer base and increase market presence.
- Develops and executes strategies that achieve sales and financial goals while ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Directs and coordinates account sales activities related to Carelon's Payment Integrity Solution Suite.
- Leads efforts related to contracting and implementation to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery.
- Builds and leverages C-suite relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex healthcare payer business challenges.
- Ensures all sales activity, pipeline progress, and client interactions are accurately maintained in the CRM tool.
- Consistently manages a robust sales pipeline and supports finalist opportunities for new business and account retention.
- Travels frequently to client locations and industry events to build relationships, pursue new opportunities, and support client engagement.
Minimum Requirements:Requires a BS/BA degree in related field with a minimum of 10 years related experience to include senior sales experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:- Extensive knowledge of health insurance sales strongly preferred.
- Experience selling Payment Integrity, payment accuracy, claims integrity, or related healthcare solutions to commercial or government health plans strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing and closing complex enterprise sales opportunities with health plans while consistently achieving new business growth objectives preferred.
- Experience serving as a consultative solution sales specialist or subject matter expert in partnership with enterprise sales executives within a matrixed organization preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, value-based solution selling, and the ability to communicate complex solution offerings to executive-level stakeholders preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Implementation, and Account Management teams to advance strategic sales opportunities preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $171,424 to $257,136.
