Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced C++ Developer with approximately 15 years of professional experience and mandatory Media domain expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecture and design, prototyping, software development, implementation planning, code reviews, and unit testing for consumer electronic devices. The candidate should have strong expertise in C/C++, media pipeline development, video streaming technologies, Digital Rights Management, audio/video formats, and media frameworks, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, architect, prototype, develop, and implement software solutions for consumer electronic devices.
• Develop and maintain media pipeline stacks supporting media processing and playback capabilities.
• Design and implement solutions using C, C++/C++11, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop and integrate video streaming technologies such as DASH, HLS, and Progressive Download.
• Implement and support Digital Rights Management technologies including Widevine, PlayReady, and FairPlay.
• Work with secure media pipeline technologies to protect digital media content.
• Develop solutions supporting various audio and video formats, including H264, HEVC, MP4, CMAF, MPEG2-TS, HDR, Dolby Vision, and related formats.
• Utilize media frameworks such as GStreamer and FFmpeg for media processing and integration.
• Develop and troubleshoot multi-threaded applications and Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms.
• Participate in architecture and design activities, implementation planning, code reviews, and unit testing.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality media software solutions.
• Maintain strong technical documentation and follow established software development practices.
• Take a proactive approach to identifying technical challenges and improving software quality and performance.

• Mandatory experience in the Media domain.
