Responsible for serving as the primary functional leader and subject matter expert (SME) for the implementation and rollout of the RentalMan ERP platform across the Engineering Solutions business. Bridges operations, engineering, finance, sales, rental, service, and IT teams to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into ERP processes and system capabilities. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities • Serves as the Engineering Solutions business lead and subject matter expert for the RentalMan ERP implementation. • Defines, documents, and validates business requirements across rental operations, field service, engineering, project management, inventory, procurement, and financial processes. • Collaborates with ERP project teams, consultants, and IT to configure and optimize RentalMan functionality. • Evaluates current-state processes and develop future-state workflows aligned with business objectives. • Identifies opportunities to standardize and simplify business processes across locations and operating units. • Facilitates workshops, process-mapping sessions, and requirement-gathering meetings. • Escalates critical business issues and recommend solutions to project leadership. • Leads User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. • Develops test scripts and validate system functionality against business requirements. • Acts as a change agent, helping teams transition effectively to new business processes and technologies. • Supports data cleansing, validation, and migration activities. • Performs other duties as assigned. Nature and Scope • Consults with senior management on solution development for complex strategic and technical business issues. Independently solvesunique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Assignments are large scope, high impact, high cost, and highimportance. • Establishes operational plans for assigned area. Acts as a strategic advisor and uses expert skills to contribute to the development of strategiccompany objectives. Receives general administrative and business direction as needed. Typically operates with broad latitude in a complexenvironment. • Guides andmentorsstaff at all levels, provides advice to senior management on complex and strategic issues, and may lead or managecomplex projects with dotted line responsibility. Work Environment • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time. Education and Experience • Typically requires a bachelor27s degree and 10+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 8+ years of experience in a related field. Maintains expert knowledge in area of responsibility with a strong understanding in adjacent areas for thedevelopment of creativesolutions. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor27s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. • Five plus years of experience in equipment rental, construction services, manufacturing, or related industries. • Experience participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, or business transformation initiatives. • Strong understanding of operational processes including rental management, asset utilization, procurement, inventory management, service operations, and financial transaction flows. • Proven ability to document business requirements and process workflows. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities. • Direct experience with RentalMan ERP (preferred).
