Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving innovation and commercial deployment of Novonesis' beverage portfolio, with
a strong focus on brewing.
Your impact comes from translating consumer trends and customer needs into compelling value propositions that strengthen our innovation pipeline and support long-term growth. You will work at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution, helping shape how our solutions succeed in the market.
Key responsibilities include:- Developing and managing a strong pipeline of new products, particularly within brewing
- Supporting the commercial deployment of portfolio initiatives and product launches
- Converting consumer trends, customer pain points, and solution benefits into clear value propositions
- Identifying emerging trends and product extension opportunities to support growth plans
- Building business cases to ensure financially attractive innovation projects
- Collaborating closely with Applied Research, R&D, Sales, and external stakeholders to align portfolio strategy with market needs
What You'll Need to Be SuccessfulTo thrive in this role, you bring a solid commercial foundation combined with a passion for innovation:
- 7+ years of experience in international business development or marketing, ideally within food ingredients
- An MS in Marketing, Business, or a related technical field
- Proven ability to develop and commercialize new business areas and food solutions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Fluency in working in an international, cross-cultural environment
Additional Skills & Interests We Value- Experience from the brewing industry (an advantage, but not a requirement)

Ways of Working- Role is based in our North American headquarters in Franklinton, NC (north of Raleigh)
- Hybrid work setup
- Travel is expected to meet customers, attend trade shows, and engage with internal teams
Compensation & Benefits- Estimated salary range: USD $125,000 - $155,000 + 15% target bonus
