What you will enjoy doing*- You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities by partnering with regional sales teams and leveraging technical expertise and the Linde Food technologies portfolio
- You will grow industrial gases and equipment business across select East Region states using value-based, consultative, and technical sales approaches with general direction from the Director of Business Development
- You will acquire new customers and expand existing accounts by executing prospecting, lead generation, qualification, market strategy, business case analysis, proposal development, pricing recommendations, and project/start-up oversight to drive profitable growth
- You will analyze market trends, regional economic activity, and industry needs to identify opportunities and lead targeted growth campaigns, market initiatives, and customer communications
- Additionally, you will monitor competitor activity, develop response strategies, and apply knowledge of financial drivers, customer needs, and Linde's technology value to strengthen competitive positioning
- Furthermore, you will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry consultants, and vendors to support long-term business development
- You will focus on Chemicals & Refining, Energy & Bio-Industrials, and Food & Beverage industries, supporting coverage across Western NY, Western PA, or Northern OH, with compensation including base salary, commission, and a company car
- Lastly, you will collaborate with internal teams-including sales, R&D, national business development, applications equipment, and customer service-to leverage Linde resources and execute effective sales strategies
What makes you great - You will hold a Bachelor of Science degree, with Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering disciplines highly preferred
- You will bring a minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical sales, including selling or communicating the value of processing equipment and/or industrial gas products that impact customer operations
- You will demonstrate the ability to travel up to 40% within the assigned territory to support customer engagement and business development efforts
- You will deliver results with a proven track record of acquiring new customers, growing existing accounts, and showing resilience in achieving sales targets
- Additionally, you will bring at least five (5) years of experience in sales or business development within the Industrial Gases industry
- Furthermore, you will demonstrate experience supporting Chemicals, Oil, Energy & Gas, and Food industry customers through technical sales solutions
- You will apply knowledge of industrial gas applications, particularly in food freezing and chilling processes, to support customer needs
- Lastly, you will leverage strong technical and engineering acumen, along with well-developed commercial and business skills, to build value-driven solutions

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $90,000 - $158,730.
