Full Job Description
This position is remote for Texas only; preferably living around Dallas, Houston, or Austin Metro Areas.

What you can offer us:
  • Be a "hunter" by aggressively looking for new business opportunities within the target markets and core competencies of the Pipeline Compliance Software and Bullhorn Cathodic Protection Remote Monitoring solution and acting as a customer advocate.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's customer base.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities in alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Research potential targets in our legacy industry and relevant adjacencies, identify key players and find creative ways to generate interest/leads.
  • Be a brand, company, and team evangelist when interacting with customers and stakeholders.
  • Be a key contributor to our trade show strategy for both new and existing customers.


Requirements

What you need to succeed:
  • 3+ years of experience business developing new customers and maintaining strategic partnerships in Energy/Utilities/Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Corrosion or integrity management experience, strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust business development strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Hunter mentality; cold calling and opening new doors.
  • Self-starter. Highly self-motivated and hungry for success.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Energy Related field, preferred.
  • Experience with using GIS to view and manage data, preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 65%+ of the time visiting clients and customers. When physical travel is not possible, positively connect with clients via technology to ensure enduring partnerships.
  • NACE CP Level 1 certification or above, a plus.
